Langtang region is a narrow valley of 1710sq km and lies in the northern part of Kathmandu in the Himalayan region to the border to Tibet. This region is the home town of more than 5000 indigenous people, they occupied this region since from the time of Hunting, well initially as nomadic but nowadays farming as a main occupation but tourism is currently flourishing. Initially they were fully depends on this park for firewood and timber also poach for food and to generate money which causes deforestation and challenging to protect the endangered creatures, but now time has been changed and local people themselves starts to protect the environment and creatures.
The region has a wide variety of climatic zones, from subtropical to alpine. Trees include the deciduous oak, maple, pine; different types of rhododendrons enrich the flora vegetation of the region. Also, it is very rich in fauna vegetation, various animals like Himalayan black bear, the Himalayan Thar, rhesus monkey and red Panda make this park more auspicious. Local people are still enjoying sharing the interesting story of a mysterious Himalayan creature Yeti.
The park in not only importation of natural resources also very famous pilgrimage together for Hindu, Buddhist and Bon religion, the Gosainkunda, a sacred lake and energy place. Another spiritual site is the Kyanjing Gompa, the Buddhist monasteries.
Now it becomes a real recreational center for various recreational activities likewise; trekking, hiking, Tirth Yatra (pilgrimage tour), rock climbing, rafting and many more.

- Day 01Departure From home town to Nepal Departure From home town to Nepal to spend the time in incredibly; relaxing in the small, fascinating country of the Himalayas with the highest mountains on our earth.
- Day 02Arrival in KathmanduBefore landing, don’t forget to explore the panorama of the Himalayas from the windows on the left side of airplane about an hour before the landing, which welcomes you if good weather. After the visa formalities and baggage pick-up, you will be taken to the hotel for overnight. In the evening, we will organize a small meeting with a tour operator and short briefing about the whole program.
- Day 03The day is reserved to explore briefly the Kathmandu Valleythe great Boudhanath Stupa and cultural and historical city Patan. Initially we will visit Boudhanath. It is the Buddhist center in in Kathmandu with continually rising up around the great Boudhanath Stupa with hundreds of monasteries, meditation centers, cultural centers, restaurants, Buddhist shops and workshops for to produce traditional handicraft. It is the pure center to learn about the Buddhist life in Kathmandu. The foundation date of this Stupa goes back to the 5th century AD, with the height of 36 meters. It was damaged by the earthquake in 2015 and after one and half year in December 2016, it had been reconstructed. After lunch, visit the historical city Patan and we can enjoy the with its typical architecture of different temples, monasteries, palaces, different historical monuments, but the main highlights of this city is woodcarving which are used in walls, windows and doors of such imaginary historical buildings. In the evening, we will return back to the hotel for overnight.
- Day 04Drive to Syabrubesi, starting point of the trekkingAfter breakfast we will take a jeep drive with our trekking team to Syabrubesi (1500 m) about 6 to 7hrs, which is the starting point for Langtang trekking. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is free to manage the luggage for trekking and to explore this small Tamang village. Overnight in a lodge of Syabrubesi with full board.
- Day 05Syabrubesi - Lama HotelThe day is starting of our multiple days trekking and today we will enter into the Langtang National park. At the begging we have to Ascent to the village Thulo Syabru (2230 m), another Tamang village of Langtang region where glimpse of Langtang peak and Ganesh Himal together with beautiful terraces of millet and potatoes waiting for us. Later on, our steeps descent to Langtang Khola (river), which is beginning section of the national park. Now, our trail lead us the path of alpine forest with the view of beautiful Ganesh Himal of 7406 m, towards the Lama Hotel, 2470 m. Overnight in a lodge with full board. Hm ↑ 1250 ↓ 450 Gz 6 h.
- Day 06Lama Hotel – Ghoratabela (5-6 hrs)Today we have to cross grassland, passes the mani walls to meet the small village Mundu. Now in front of us, arise the amazing view of Langtang Lirung. Further proceeding the trail, in the afternoon we will cross the former village of Langtang, which was destroyed by the earthquake in 2015, finally we will reach the Ghoratabela (3540 m) which is our camp for today for overnight with the beautiful scenery of the west edge of the Kangchengpo (6387 m). Overnight in a lodge with full board. ↑ 1150 ↓ 100.
- Day 07Ghoratabela - Kyangjin Gompa (3 hrs)Todays’ destination is the Kyangjin Gompa, an alpine valley of 3900 m which is a religious destination for Buddhist devotees and we will find here lots of Praying wheels, small Stupas and chhortens along our trails. Our trail passes through the high valley is barren, gifted juniper forest and big grassland to graze the yaks and highest mountains and glaciers to arrive Kyanjin Gompa, where we overnight for two nights with one complete rest day for acclimatization. During the free day we can explore the village, there is a small cheese factory for making delicious yak cheese. Also from Kyangijn we have glimpses of 6745 meters high Khimshung. Overnight in a lodge with full board. ↑350m.
- Day 08Kyanjin Gompa - Lama HotelToday, we will repeat the path which is we already covered, back to Langtang. After a short break, we will continue to down-hill to Ghoratabela to Lama Hotel. Overnight in a lodge with full board.

- Day 10Lama Hotel - Thulo Syabru (6-7 hrs)Today, we will arrive a famous region for honey hunting, by following the path alongside the Langtang River. On the cliff we can observer full of beehives, which are honey hunters gathered together and harvest once in a year.
The trek will continues; After a steep descent we will you reach the Bamboo Lodge, right in the middle of the forest, right side of the river bank, is our lunch camp for today. We will make lunch break. After the break, we will continue our walk. Again the path leads us steeply downhill, through the forest to Thulo Syabru. The village is particularly beautiful because of glimpse of great Himalaya. Overnight in a lodge with full board. (↑750 m /↓890 m).
- Day 11Thulo Syabru - Shing Gompa (5-6 hrs)Our destination for today is the Shing Gumba (a Monastery) at 3,330 m along the beautiful trail of orchid. We are now gradually near to the sub-tropical zone, so that enriches the numerous flora and Fauna. Especially, Bird fauna, including lots of pheasant kinds and others birds species sported here. Upon arrival in Shing Gompa, we can enjoy with the locally produced, spicy yak cheese, which is produced with the direct involvement of monasteries. The monastery itself is very elegant because of various pictures and butter lamps where we can spend our leisure time. Overnight in a lodge with full board. ↑ 1100
- Day 12Shing Gompa – Gosainkund (6 hrs)The most sacred lakes for Hindus, the Gosainkunda, is lying at the altitude of 4420 m which is considered as "the summer palace of lord Shivas" and also main highlights of our tour. Hindu used to take holy bath in this lake, but also a sacred place for Buddhist and Bon religion. At full moon night shaman gathers here to renew their energy and Bhampo perform their spiritual dance. It is famous not only because of religious importance but also naturally it is one of the gifted place form our mother earth, from where we can observe wide range and famous spot for to observe the Himalayan range including Manaslu (8147m), Annapurna- I (8091m), Ganesh Himal. - Day 13Gosainkund - Laurebina Pass – Ghopte (6-7 hrs)By crossing the Laurebina pass of 4600 m, which is the highest pass of our trek, we will reach the Helambu region. There may be snow on the pass; a strong wind may blow so we have to take care about it. Warm wears, more drinking and slow steps are some helpful tips to overwhelm from altitude. Later on, our trail descends to Ghopte (3465 m) but before the descent, it is worth to take a look at beautiful Annapurna, Manaslu and Langtang Himalayan range. Overnight in a lodge with full board. ↑ 450 ↓ 1400
- Day 14Ghopte – Kutumsang (6-7 hrs)Between Ghopte (3465 m) and our destination Kutumsang (2650 m), there lies a pass, Thare-Pati (3630 m) so up and down follows along our trails. The trail passes through mostly dense and un-touched forests and typical terraced fields which is mythical terrains of the Helambu region. Now, the temperature is slightly rising than previous days. Overnight in a lodge with full board. ↑250 ↓1200
- Day 15Kutumsang - Thankuni Bhanjyang (5-6 hrs)Along natural beauties of the diverse vegetation of Helambu region, we will measure the path of our destination, the Thankuni Bhanjyang. Following mostly descend downhill trails, through the Tamang village, forests, finally we will arrive at the altitude of 1730m, where lodge owner waiting us to provide his service. Overnight in a lodge with full board.↑600 ↓920
- Day 16Thankuni Bhanjyang - Sundarijal: Trekkingende in the Kathmandu Valley (6-7 hrs)Today's route leads us up and down along the beautiful Helambu region. The non-stop beautiful scenery of mountain terrains of mid-Himalayan region of Nepal again and again bits us and provides us amusing feelings. Finally, our trekking tour ends at Sundarijal in the Kathmandu Valley (1430 m). Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu. ↑ 700 ↓ 1750
- Day 17Free day in KathmanduThe day is as leisure. You can make the short trip individually. For example, take trips to Patan and Bhaktapur or stroll in Thamel.

Trip Note
Physical Condition & Experience Requirements:
This is a moderate trek and suitable for passionate walkers with the ability to walk at least 5-7 hours a day with a light day pack. But, we don not forget that walking in higher altitudes is more physically demanding than walking in lower altitudes; however, if you are in good condition in health with average physical fitness and have a positive attitude, self-confidence and a strong determination, you can accomplish this trek successfully. Exercising and jogging regularly for some weeks prior to the trip is a good idea to enhance your strength and stability. Past hiking experience would be an asset, but no technical skill is required for this trip. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung, and blood diseases are required to consult their doctor before taking the trip.

Acclimatization and Safety:
High altitude Sickness (HAS) can be life threatening if elevation is gained too rapidly without proper acclimatization. Overexertion and dehydration contribute to HAS. So, drink at least 3-4 litters of water every day besides tea and coffee which act as diuretics. The altitude sickness is often characterized by the following symptoms: Headache, dizziness, difficulty breathing, tiredness and insomnia. Enough time to acclimatize, slowly moving, avoiding smoking and alcohol, positive feeling, lots of drink and sufficient rest can avoid the altitude sickness. For the emergency, bring pain killers that do not make you sleepy. If you are heart patients or those who have hypertension; should consult with your doctor before leaving to travel.
Climate:
Mainly, there are two seasons, spring (March, April and May) and autumn )September, October and November) as the best season for trekking in Nepal. During those seasons, the temperature is acceptable and weather may mostly clear, but preparing for all short of the temperature is obligatory because in such altitude, the weather is undefined. Please bring warm clothes, Thermal underwear, down jacket and down sleeping bag. Also in in Himalaya regions, there is a very big difference in temperature during the day and at night. Please also have a linen cloth (inner sleeping bag), sunglasses, sunscreen with a high sun protection factor.
